Welcome to my blog! I started a blog once before around 2010 when blogging was the it thing. Whether you had a business or were just a rando, you had a blog. I think there were like four posts on mine. You can actually still see it here if you’re curious what my life was like ten years ago. Let’s just say phone photography has come a long way in the last decade. So here is officially blogging take two. It’s certainly meant to last longer than four posts. I want this to be a place to share about all things quilty.

My Goals for the Blog
I have two goals for my blog. First, I want to teach my readers skills that will bring them greater confidence in their quilting. I think it's so funny when people (typically non-sewists) are dumbfounded by my quilting. I suppose it seems so complicated to them to take a stack of fabric and turn it into a beautiful quilt. Little do they know that 90% of quilting is sewing in a straight line. When you break it down, most skills are very doable and not scary. I hope this will become a place to learn or refresh basic skills and possibly push yourself to try something new. A library of sorts.
Second, I want to prove that quilting is cool! Now, I know how that sounds. If you have to prove it’s cool, it’s probably not cool. Well, that’s where you’re wrong. Quilting can be freeing, fun, and lighthearted if you let it. Perfection is not my thing. Trust me, I've tried it and it doesn't work. So rather than focusing on being the perfect quilter, I hope to encourage your to make it fun. Cool, even. So brush aside the images in your mind of stodgy boring quilters and get ready to party! [Cue confetti]

I LOVE the Ginger Box. Is there another way I can pay other than PayPal? I've had a problem with PayPal and had to shut down my account. Looking for a positive resolution from you so I can continue to receive your delightful box.
